Dr. Medha A. Shah
(Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering)

Dr. Medha A. Shah is the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. She joined the institution in 2003 and has since made significant contributions to the field of computer science education and research. Dr. Shah holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Shivaji University, specializing in High Performance Computing. She also earned her M.E. and B.E. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering.

Her research interests include high performance computing, cloud computing, and network security. Dr. Shah has published numerous papers in national and international journals and conferences. She has also been involved in several sponsored projects, including the design and development of content-based routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks.

In addition to her academic and research pursuits, Dr. Shah has received various grants and awards for her work, including travel grants from ACM and IEEE to present her research at international conferences

She is also an active member of the WCE ACM Student Chapter, serving as a staff advisor since 2014. Dr. Shah’s dedication to her field and her students has made her a respected figure in the academic community at Walchand College of Engineering.
