IPR Cell

The IPR Cell of the institute will be the nodal agency of the Institute responsible for processing (Promoting, Evaluating, Protecting, Commercializing and Managing) all IPR related matters addressed in this policy, i.e., any Intellectual Property generated out of the efforts of the Institute personnel / other individual(s) / Organization(s) associated with the institute.

An Institute Intellectual Property Right Committee (IPR) will be as follows: (currently R&D committee is acting as a IPR Cell. 

1. Dean (R&D) Chairperson
2. Faculty member nominated by Director Coordinator
3. Head of the concerned Department Member
4. One Faculty from PG Member
5. One Faculty from UG Member
6. Legal and Technical experts nominated by the Director Member

WCE has hired services of With MYCrave Consultancy services, Vadodara from 13th March, 2023 for Patent facilitation purpose. Sessions are regularly planned for  students and faculty to create awareness and explain the process of patent filing and protection of IPR, 

College has decided to facilitate absorb all the cost of filing patent from faculty and stundets.
